Senior Project / Program Manager

Role Summary/Purpose: All businesses are unique. The Project/Program Manager role engages with Epicor's customers to facilitate the creation of customizations that allow businesses to create differentiation in their marketplace. From concept through delivery, the Project/Program Manager guides the customer through the process and controls all aspects of a successful outcome. Travel: 15% Epicor's Custom Solutions Group needs an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead engagements with customers to create unique solutions. You will work with customers across the globe. You'll be a "hands on" contributor with the responsibility to understand, specify, design, and test solutions. You'll gain a strong knowledge of how businesses operate. You'll have the opportunity to help customers define their processes. As part of the team, you will be expected to participate in continual improvement projects, and to help to create new processes focused on successful outcomes with customers. Cross-team coordination, project management and an ability to learn and understand new technology are essential. This position demands an ability to prioritize and multi task. The ideal candidate will have experience with project/program management, strong business acumen, a good understanding of ERP technology, and be excited to enhance the customer experience with their solutions. They will also have great people skills, experience working with others around the globe and be willing and able to 'roll their sleeves up' and dig into problems when needed. Essential Responsibilities: Engage with customers to define requirements for customizations Assist customers in defining process changes based on proposed customizations Help customer to define ultimate output of customizations for acceptance purposes Create design for customizations in conjunction with the CSG Development Team Provide best practice project management, monitor and control coaching to customers Maintain overall control of the schedule, budget and scope Ensure that project plans and work products are based on approved and agreed-upon requirements Ensure that commitments and changes to commitments resulting from the requirements are negotiated with affected groups Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or 4+years equivalent work experience Strong grasp of technical concepts (customization, programming, etc.) Background in ERP (Implementations, End User, Project Team Leader/Member) Functional knowledge of Epicor ERP a significant plus Experience building processes, project management, and scheduling Strong troubleshooting skills Experience in managing stakeholders and balancing the needs of multiple customers Demonstrated ability to manage project risk Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Solid organizational and time management skills Requisition Number: 18002124

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
