Product Director, Member View

Description International SOS has an exciting opportunity for a  Product Director for our Member View team. This role is responsible for the delivery of member facing channels and their interfaces.  This will include the creation of new channels, but also the continued oversight of existing ones such as our mobile Assistance App and Membership Portal.  The Product Director is accountable for the commercial end-to-end product lifecycle management of Member View and the integration of our solutions within.  This will entail translating market trends and client requirements into requirements which will be executed with the Digital Assistance Programme and/or Product Engineering Group.  As such, key focus will be working closely with the GM of Customer Experience and his/her team to understand the market requirements and develop the right set of technologies, user experience, and functional requirements.  The scope of the role is global in nature, and requires extensive international and cross-cultural work and some travel. The role is critically linked to the Digital Assistance Programme (DAP), helping to shape the Member experience through our product portfolio, client needs, and technical investments to help move our solutions forward in the market. Responsibilities: The Group Product Director - Member View will focus on delivering a 1st class Member digitalexperience by creating both new channels and energizing existing channels through which we interact with our members.  This will be accomplished by working cross functionally across the organization to accomplish the following: o Work closely with the GM Customer Experience, Product Operations, and Regional Product Teams to identify market and client opportunities for integrated solutions to meet Member needs. o Define product positioning, commercial distribution and go-to-market strategy in accordance with general commercial and partnership agendas, o Actively monitors and assesses the competitive landscape and defines and drives effective responses. o Driver for creating and executing the desired user experience for our members.  This includes defining user journeys and insuring our user interface accurately represents the experience. o Define appropriate integrated offerings with full analysis of commercial gains and operational impacts and prioritize deliverables accordingly o Oversight of and responsibility for the detailed business requirements/functional specs and/or Use Cases relative to specific feature/function for the current and future member facing channels. o Across all channels, lead in developing strategies for fixing bugs, adding features and making product / system improvements without disrupting execution of the overall roadmap. o Participate in and conduct relevant product testing and user acceptance testing as directed by the project plan of specific releases. o Works closely with the Regional Product Team to ensure appropriate cascading of information and coordinated sales approaches in all regions. o Collaborating with GM Customer Experience and team on KPI and analytics for our member facing solutions. In addition, the Product Director - Member View may be asked to carry out special projects including working as an SME on other 'mobile friendly' platforms capabilities and projects required to advance the company digital agenda such as: o TravelTracker mobile o Variations of the Assistance App for other parts of Intl.SOS business o Other partner apps which may form part of the Intl.SOS ecosystem. o Actively monitor technology and competitive landscape and propose creative responses. o Drive functional best practices and knowledge transfer across the team.    Qualifications/Experience: o Customer and user experience first mentality and commitment to provide a high level of service to customers o High level of product management tools and techniques knowledge and practice including Agile methodologies o Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and global cross departmental team members, ideally within an matrix operating model o Proven leadership skills, with effective communication and influencing skills and an ability to work successfully in a matrix structure o Excellent presentation skills with the ability to break complex solutions into simple messages o Cultural sensitivity and awareness. Ability to work in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment where consensus is the norm. o Excellent organization skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to adjust to frequent changes in project priorities o Innovative, creative problem solver with an eye for detail and accuracy o Strong evidence of sharing and synthesizing knowledge o Strong evidence of problem solving and analytical capability Skills/Knowlegde: o 7-10 years' experience in mobile product development and sound knowledge of product development processes o Knowledge and experience designing and implementing of business and program delivery processes and workflows o Experience in digital and information product development and program delivery processes o Successful track record of delivering accurate, comprehensive requirements to specific timescales and release schedules o High level Technical knowledge/expertise Exposure to App and /or web-based solutions in a B to B environment a strong plus o Extensive international work and travel experience o Experience leading initiatives across global teams o Global knowledge and previous experience to international markets a plus o Required Qualifications (Brief description of the educational background needed to perform the job) o University degree required o Advanced degree (or MBA) in Business or Computer Sciences will be a distinct advantage o Required Languages (Brief description of the language skills needed to perform the job) o An excellent standard of written and spoken English is essential.  Any other languages will be a distinct advantage o Travel / Rotation Requirements (Brief description of any travel or rotation requirements) o Occasional travel will be required as dictated by business need 19486

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
