Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities: Provide daily production support for travel data processes based on the technical and business knowledge of multiple applications Ability to manage and enhance Information Builders WebFocus reporting platform for new and existing clients. Design complex Ad-hoc reports and queries according to client requests, Analyze and improve existing reporting functionality and data loading processes. Responsible for the full cycle of technical implementation, maintenance and modifications of the Reporting System for all applications for the department. Collaborate with internal and external Clients to analyze new requests, solve reported problems, create new and modify the existing Reporting System Participate in multiple software development projects to enhance the existing reporting system and travel data system. Create documentation to describe existing processes and proposed changes including overall design, functional specifications and data flow. Participate in reviewing and verification of presented business requirements. Manage Daily Operations to insure all processes are completed in an accurate and timely fashion Participate in data migration and archiving processes. Qualifications/Experience 3+ years of experience in developing data intensive ad-hocreporting desired 2+ years of experienceworking with data loads and transformation 3+ years of MS Server, SSIS, SQL desired Experience with R, Congos or Crystal Reports is desired. Experience working with data loads and transformation. Extensive experience with setup, testing, documentation, end-user analysis and design specifications. WebFOCUS development experience with parameterized reports, scheduled reports and ad-hocreporting is desired. A solid understanding of the WebFOCUS reporting environment and the ability to develop complex WebFocus reporting solutions is preferred.  Experience with Change and Source Control Travel data experiencepreferred BA or higher Degree in computer science or related discipline preferred Skills/Knowledge Ability to use a methodology and process for requirements gathering and development Strong written & oral communication skills Task management and ability to effectively manage multiple high priority projects Strong ability to work across departmental teams Results driven Provide expertise in analysis, design and creation of complex reports and problem resolution. Analytical skills and ability to set up and monitor data loads for Global reporting. Ability to perform backend setup and configurations for Global Reporting System; monitor overall system performance and take actions to escalate potential issues and track resolutions. Strong SQL skills and ability to develop SQL scripts and queries using T-SQL on MSSQL Server database. SSIS experience is desirable. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
