Engineering Technical Leader - Engine Cooling Systems

Role Summary:
The Engine Cooling & Lubrication team is responsible for the design, reliability, and productivity of engine cooling systems for the freight locomotive market. This role is to serve as an Engineering Technical Leader for the team.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Engineering Technical Leader leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and is a recognized expert in a specialized field. In this role you will be responsible for giving technical leadership on major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
In addition you will:
? Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers for all product design aspects of the Engine Cooling and Lubrication systems.
? Interface with systems engineering team to tradeoff high level cooling system concepts
? Assure all component designs meet requirements
? Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services, and global engineering.
? Support service programs, fulfillment, and New Product Introduction (NPI)
? Provide strong guidance and contribution design to cost and reliability projects
? Communicate progress to all levels of the organization
? Mentor and develop junior technologists
? Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
? Minimum of 10 years of experience in an Engineering position
? Minimum 5 years of experience working with reciprocating engines, engine thermal management, and/or cooling system design
Desired Characteristics:
? Broad knowledge in diesel engines, engine cooling system design and tradeoffs
? Expertise in design and validation of charge air coolers and radiators
? Cooling system thermal modeling experience
? Familiarity with freight locomotive design and cooling system architecture.
? Master?s degree in Engineering
? Six Sigma training
? Strong mechanical design and analytical background
? Familiarity with manufacturing processes
? Ability to drive projects to completion
? Strong oral and written communication skills
? Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
? Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
