Process Engineer - Sputtered Metallic Coatings

Seeking individual able to provide experience with PVD sputtered metallic coatings onto a variety of targets including enclosures made of copper, copper alloys, aluminum, ceramic or other.
Shall own all activities under the process design and prototyping umbrellas for new products.
Responsible Areas:
Write out and test DOE for new products and prototypes.
Inspect, evaluate and accept prototypes, or reject and re-design DOE and processes to account for deficiencies.
Create SOPs and train technicians and equipment operators on process, ensuring reproducibility of process and quality end-product.
Own the process once it is completed and implemented, act as the process sustainment engineer and provide continuous improvement support for projects including process sustainability and product quality.
Evaluate data gathered during continuous improvement projects utilizing statistical process control methods.
Recommend and implement changes or improvements to under performing aspects of projects or processes.
Requirements:
Degree in Material Science or equivalent.

years relevant experience in a PVD environment working with sputtered metallic coatings.
