We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about implementing the Montessori Method and is dedicated to fostering a love of learning.
Optimal candidates will join an enthusiastic, supportive, and forward-thinking network of educators.
Qualifications:
? Montessori credential in Elementary (I or I/II) ? PA Teaching degree required ? Experience Directing a Montessori Elementary Classroom ? Passionate about alternative education ? Ability to teach children of various ages, abilities, and needs ? Patience and excellent observation and communication skills ? Ability to work collaboratively with team members ? Strong classroom management skills Requirements:
? Develop independent learning plans, curricula and methods that meet the needs of each individual child.
? Observe, guide, supervise and assess children while they learn in the classroom.
? Create and maintain a stimulating classroom environment where all children feel safe and valued.
? Monitor and assess student progress and write up reports.
