We are currently looking for a Purchasing Assistant to help Coordinate and order supplies and Services to fill our company's needs.
Purchasing Assistant's responsibilities include researching new vendors, tracking deliveries and updating order records.
Ultimately, you will make cost-effective purchases, and ensure our venders maintain delivery and high quality.
Responsibilities Write and send Purchase orders to our venders.
Research potential vendors Track orders and ensure timely delivery Request and evaluate quotes from vendors.
Maintain updated records of Purchase orders and contracts.
Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
Inspecting quality of incoming & outgoing product.
Liaise with Shipping and receiving staff to ensure all products being shipped, or received, arrive in good condition.
Skills Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role Helpful.
Knowledge of machining and metal finishing processes Helpful.
Strong knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
