Role PurposeThe CTO role will be pivotal in shaping and implementing the next generation technology vision for our clients largest line of business.
The role is multi-dimensional as it involves translating the latest business goals and product ambitions into a digital change program spanning the people, platform, and processes required to make it happen.
This role covers the day to day management of the Engineering organization as well as the delivery of the Next Generation Platform and associated projects.
The role is a key leadership position within the organization and requires exceptional presence and EQ.
Definition of SuccessThe CTO plays a critical role in supporting this definition of success to become reality by focusing on:
Re-Platforming To successfully plan and implement the next-generation digital platform.
This plan will be executed with in-house and external/offshore resources as we look to rapidly unlock the business from our current framework to a new open-source and truly agile digital development model.
Operating Model As the re-platforming progresses and our product vision continues to evolve and crystalize, the CTO needs to establish a clear future Operating Model for the engineering group.
This will include current and future capabilities, locations and delivery models, business cases, and financials as well as a plan to deliver this future while managing the current delivery.
Leadership Executive and visionary presence in the team and with the leadership of the business is required.
Clarity and drive towards our digital future and the ability to communicate this digital future is critical.
Other ResponsibilitiesOperations and Security:
Ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, and security of technology infrastructure.
Implement best practices for data security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
Enable seamless partnership and collaboration with senior colleagues within line of business and across other parts of the business Digital Product Development:
Collaborate with product management to shape and execute the digital product roadmap, focusing on user experience and functionality.
Provide proactive advice and activity to support strong ROI and the harvesting of quick wins that deliver tangible, material customer/ member benefits.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Allocate resources effectively to meet business priorities.
Vendor and Partner Relations:
Define, evolve and execute against an agreed upon Buy-vs.
-Build framework.
Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and strategic partners.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and deliverables.
Pro-active management of 3rd party consultancies engaged in the execution of our replatforming efforts.
Operating Model Development:
Working closely with Group resources, align the operating model of the Engineering function to best serve the broader business need.
Influence and shape Group resources and processes to achieve alignment Review and optimize the management processes, development processes, staffing, skills and leverage of third-party organizations (eg, offshore/ nearshore) Compliance and Data Privacy:
Ensure the organization complies with relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards.
Implement data governance and protection measures Job ProfileRequired Skills and Knowledge Proven leadership at CTO level managing technical product staff, engineers and dealing with challenges of innovating and modernizing the technology ecosystem to drive commercial growth and customer satisfaction in customer facing products.
Proven experience as a technology leader, with a track record of successful technology strategy execution.
A career of working as and with engineers, deep knowledge of how to get the best out of technical teams and how to drive improved talent management and capability building across the team.
Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, that focus on how to turn business acumen into a technology strategy and vision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills that shine when dealing with the challenges of delivery.
Ready to roll sleeves up and lead by example.
Experienced with the challenges of setting up a technology model that spans multiple locations, sourcing models and how to leverage partners and consultants in driving to success.
Able to successfully balance delivery and financial challenges in both on-going execution and the creation of a to-be operating model.
Strong communicator able to translate a technology vision into something inspirational and exciting for the executive leadership and the non-technical parts of the team and business High energy, practical and pragmatic.
A strong delivery / output focus, whilst able to balance the pressures of immediate delivery with the need for diligent planning; strategic alignment Budget management; scenario planning.
Financially astute and numerically confident.
Can demonstrate a strong grip on the numbers, both CapEx and OpEx spends Exceptional stakeholder management and EQ.
Able to form deep and productive global relationships with stakeholders drawn across function and geography Required Work Experience Significant experience in driving visioning, planning and execution of customer facing digital and infra projects.
Experience across on / off/ near-shore team management and also managing the creation of in- house off-shore teams is a plus Experience in the Healthcare, Emergency response or Security sectors would be a bonus Track record architecting, delivering and supporting technical platforms in global businesses of similar size and geographic breadth Practical experience of the information security and data residency; protection requirements of operating in a rapidly evolving global context A breadth of experience spanning back end and front-end engineering in B2C or B2B2C businesses Required QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, Computer Science, Information Technology,Business Administration).
Required Languages An excellent standard of written and spoken English is essential.
Additional languages would be a distinct advantage.
Location & Travel Requirements Based on East Coast US, the role will require a minimum of three days/ week on-site in Trevose office Domestic relocation can be considered Modest international travel will also be required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
