Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care for pets in the absence of their owners - Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding, exercise, and medication administration - Ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for at all times - Engage in playtime and provide companionship for pets - Clean up after pets, including litter box cleaning and waste disposal - Monitor the health and behavior of pets and report any concerns to the owner - Maintain a clean and organized environment in the pet's living area Skills:
- Strong love and passion for animals - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to handle and restrain animals when necessary - Basic knowledge of pet care, including feeding, grooming, and exercise needs - Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to detail - Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting or carrying of pets or pet supplies Note:
This position may require heavy lifting at times, such as carrying large bags of pet food or transporting larger animals.
Additionally, providing excellent customer service is essential as you will be interacting with pet owners on a regular basis.
