Much of the job will be dealing with metal components:
wire, chain, bars, plate.
Hours:
8:
00 am to 4:
00 pm Monday thru Friday.
Small relaxed office.
Casual Dress.
Responsibilities:
Purchase all material required to manufacture and fabricate our product:
Bars, Chain, Wire, Rods, Channels, Metal Stamped Parts Purchase and maintain all products to keep our manufacturing facility running smooth:
Machine components, tooling, facility equipment, oil, safety equipment, welding supplies and gases.
Maintain electronic pdf files of all purchase orders and drawings for future reference.
Scan closed sales orders for a paperless system.
Develop relationships with our vendors:
Wire suppliers, chain supplier and fabricators Maintain our osha safety program already in place.
Make available videos for employees, training on safety protocols in our plant.
Make sure our msds sheets are maintained and employees are following proper safety protocol.
Backup for incoming calls if receptionist is busy.
Assist with bills of lading and packing lists.
Assist office where needed in multiple projects.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Excel helpful.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed - Must have strong math skills in order figure yields required for purchasing enough for finished product.
