Join our three- location practice in Newtown, Feasterville, and Jenkintown, PA to be a surgical assistant that is also dually trained to assist in the delivery of general anesthesia by a nationally recognized training program by the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
We are looking for Full Time patient-focused team players who are caring, outgoing, nurturing and multi-taskers to join our growing practice.
While oral surgery experience is a plus, if you have experience within dentistry we will train the right candidates.
To be a successful surgical assistant in our practice, candidates should enjoy helping people, possess a caring spirit to calm children and adults that are scared, be very detailed oriented, proactive, and be a team player.
We have a very close-knit team that enjoys working with one another, helps one another and welcomes newcomers with enthusiasm.
Our surgical assistants travel between our office locations to work with a variety of our Drs, patients and other staff.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Assistant
Responsibilities:
Surgically assisting surgeons Handing clinical office tasks such as greeting and preparing patients for surgery, sterilization of instruments, cleaning and organizing operatories, reordering of supplies, taking digital xrays Participating in staff and doctor continuing education Anticipate the needs of the surgeons in order to ensure a seamless and positive experience for our patients Use of a computer, as our office is digital and paperless Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Assistant Requirements:
PA dental x-ray license Attention to detail Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for our patients Excellent communication skills Salary:
$18 - 22 per hour
